Andrew began his journey to Raffety Adams Consulting and as a goal attainment focused recruiter as a manager and ski instructor at the Hilton Grand Hotel In Breckinridge, Colorado. His ability to discern and fulfill the needs of his clientele led to management positions at the luxury hotel chains W Hotels and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Andrew transitioned from hospitality to financial advisor placement upon his return to his hometown of Houston, Texas as a recruiter with Hughes and Associates Placement Partners. He was rapidly promoted to a management position but, despite his successes, he was compelled into entrepreneurialism when his employer elected to recruit exclusively for Ameriprise. This decision robbed Andrew of the ability to maintain his focus on the placement of advisors with firms that afforded the individual advisor with the best platform for personal fulfillment and the optimal environment to facilitate the advisor’s growth and client service.

Walking away from a lucrative position to chart a new course was a daunting experience for Andrew. He recognizes his concerns and fears are very similar to those financial advisors experience when considering a transition to a new firm.
